Roman Talks Mumbo Island

Below are journal entries by Roman from our days on Mumbo Island.

Today we went on a kayak and it was great.  There was suppose to be a seal but we didn't see it,  we went snorkeling two times and one was at Eagle Cove (where we saw two eagles) and the second was at Fishermans Beach.  There were so many fish and rocks my mom and dad had to practically peel me off one of the rocks when it was time to go.  It was fun though and that's all that matters.

My Swim Around the Cove

Today I went swimming around a cove to see a cave and it was so cool but the cave stunk like a skunk.  I figured out that two ravens lived at the top of the cave.   Oh, we had to snorkel the whole  way around the giant rocks to the other side of the cove.   It was really really far.  It was freaky looking down because all that you could see was blue.  There were tons of beautiful fish and big rocks for them to swim around. I was tired at the end but my brother and dad kept me going and I made it all the way by myself.
